Cruising into luxury

Monday morning saw an imposing luxury liner cruise elegantly down the blue waters at Port Sultan Qaboos. Docking there for about 10 hours on its way to Fujayrah, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and back to Dubai, the ‘Costa Luminosa’, the jewel in the crown of the Costa Cruises fleet, glinted in the winter sun — all 16 decks (12 for guests) and 965 feet of it.

Costa Luminosa calls at Port Sultan Qaboos

The Costa Luminosa luxurious cruise liner called on its maiden voyage to Port Sultan Qaboos recently.  The vessel, which belongs to Costa Cruises, arrived with 1,801 tourists and 909 crew members of different nationalities.
